Superbowl Weekend

This weekend was so eventful for me.. i loved it =]

It all started Saturday.. I left to go to Connie’s Party thing at TGI Fridays and had to pick up Matt on the way. He didnt have a present for Connie yet, so i drove to Target so he could get something. We got something picked out and decided to give our gifts together. Then James called and said he wanted me to take him home after the Connie’s Lunch thing, but i didnt hear him correctly and thought he wanted me to pick him up and take him there. So.. i drove all the way down to his house, and even missed the turn twice cuz matt didnt see the turn both times.. haha finally got there and called him only to find out that he was already at Fridays. So i had to drive all the way back.. hitting almost every red light and ended up being an hour late xD. Got there and it turned out no one had even gotten their food yet, so we ordered and ate. Lets see.. Tran, Harold, Tracy, Katie, Erica, Erica’s friend, Matt, James Chhun, Me, and of course Connie were there. After we finished our food, we were all talking and Tran was playing with my phone. Then Tran told me to go get the TGI workers to sing to Connie, so i got up and went to the bathroom to wash my hands. James and Matt followed me and i found our waitress on the way and told her about Connie’s birthday. When we got back from the bathroom, a bunch of the workers came and they all sang to Connie and gave her some complimentary ice cream. Then we all went outside and took pics and then we left, and i took matt and james home.

After Connie’s party, i went home for a bit and then left for Stephanie Shijo’s bday party. She was at strikes with Stephanie Miura, Robyn.. iono, Chiemi, Shelby, and Emily Farabough i think. I was late so someone already bowled the first 3 frames for me. I ended up with like.. 87 that round.. haha pretty bad. The 2nd game i got 1 strike a couple of spares, but so many gutters xD.. got a score of 126! Beat Melanie’s high by 1! =D hahaha Then afterwards I drove Steph and she was supposed to show me the way to Steph’s house, but she didnt remember and we went exploring looking for it. We finally passed by it and i pointed out the house cuz Steph didnt recognize it or something. We got in and chilled in her living room.. watching WWE. not sure why and i started getting really tired and almost fell asleep. Then everyone went outside and we started hitting a really big inflatable volleyball around. That was interesting, then Royce came and he was like.. injured from soccer. We then ran inside and ate. They all started talking about their elementary days since they were all in the same class, and i wasnt so i was a little left out. After that we went into her living room to play Apple to Apples. The game was pretty easy to understand and play, but apparently i suck at the game… hard. Everyone had won at least like.. 7 cards and were getting tired of the game already, while i had won.. 0. They goal was to help me win at least 1 round.. and that lasted like a half hour.. hahaha I finally won and everyone cheered for me.. it was pretty sad xD Then Thanwa came and we started playing a game called Pass the Sign. They did a terrible job explaining it and we had to play a couple of rounds for everone to understand how to play. Apparently i sucked at that game too and i spend like 20 minutes in the middle tryiing to find the sign. Then i finally got the hang of it and it was really fun. Then at around 9:30 i went home and relaxed.

Sundayyyyyy was awesome. I got up and cleaned a bit and got ready for my very first professional sporting event. My first Kings game. =] My uncle got free tickets and my dad told him to get 7, so i invited Matt, Richard, James, and Billy invited his friend Alvin. Originally Richard and I were supposed to drive 2 seperate cars there, but Richard’s dad took his car so he couldnt drive. So we ended up having my bro drive all of us there in my van. We got there and walked around the whole building before finally finding our section. Our seats were actually pretty good. We were on the lower level, but we were behind the backboard. The atmosphere there was totally different then what i had expected. There was alot more people than i expected too. The game was really good and we saw quite a few highlights. Kevin Durant with a nice reverse dunk, a couple of fast break dunks from Durant, and Francisco Garcia, but no highlight dunk from Russell Westbrook. Almost had one though =[. Duing halftime we explored the place and right before the 3rd quarter, me and thanwa got some garlic fries and a soda. Expensive, but it was pretty good. During the 3rd quarter, they dropped thunder sticks from the ceiling in the seats in front of us. We knew it was coming, so i told them to run down to get some. I was in the middle of the row, and the other guys were getting out really slow, so i jumped over the seat in front of me and ran down and got myself a pair =]. The game was close and went into overtime. It was such an experience.. i loved it. After the game we ran outside to meet some of the players. The first player we saw was Dante Green. We all wanted pics, but then everyone dumped their cameras and phones on me, so i ended up taking the pics and didnt get one with him myself.. =[ I saw Kenny Thomas and Brad Miller drive by. Brad Miller drives a really big and ugly pickup truck and he honked at us.. it sounded like a train. Then we ran down to see if Jason Thompson had left yet. We waited around 5-10 minutes and we finally saw him come out to his car. We met up with him and got a picture. I was actually in this one too =].. haha

Jason Thompson!

After that my bro picked us up and we all got to my house. James left to go to Scotty’s house to watch the superbowl. Matt, Thanwa, and Richard stayed at my house and we ate and then we shot around in my backyard. It was pretty fun and then it started to get dark and they all went home. I watched the end of the superbowl and the Steelers won =]. Oh forgot to mention the kings won too!! hehe So.. that was my weekend. One of the best ever!
