The Holidays
sooooo i’m finally posting a blog on here =P
Its a week into Winter Break and I greatly enjoy it =]. So far its been nothing but relaxing and fun. Last week on Monday i went to eat at Mizu sushi buffet in Natomas.. that place was GREAT! Later that day i went to Chili’s to eat at Richard’s dinner party. I got there early cuz i thought it was starting at 5:30.. but apparently it was supposed to start at 6. I got there and just saw Ryan Cheung there. Then a bunch of other people arrived.. then finally richard came.. late. Everyone started to sit down and Richard suddenly realized that he forgot to get a cake.. so I offered to help him out. He gave me some money and i got Matt to come with me to Bel Air and we got an ice cream cake. the girl at the counter said she’d write on the cake and we stood there waiting for about 10 minutes. Then we finally paid for it and headed back and ate dinner. i was still full from Mizu’s and Matt went to #1 buffet that day too so he was still kinda full, so we shared a dish of country fried steak. i ordered that cuz Tran got it and it looked kinda good.. kinda disappointing because it was ok.. wasnt really that great. Then richard got caked twice, and we all had fun. I drove Tran to Target cuz her dad was gonna pick her up there, but he hadnt left the house yet so i offered to take her home. We talked and i tried to figure out the directions to her house cuz she didnt really know.. lol it was pretty fun though. The next day.. Billy and I went to play basketball with some of my brother’s friends at Franklin.. haha i called up matt and told him to come too since his bro would be there. It was fun, but i didnt do too great since it was the first time i’d played in months. My team won the first game though.. and i made the game winning shot! whoooo! hahaha =P When i got home i saw 2 new phones.. Samsung Eternities.. i got excited.. but they werent for me and billy.. hahaha it was my oldest bro’s and my dad’s. They got those phones and gave us their old ones.

And my bro got the LG Shine. Great phones =]. Havent had any problems with them yet.. but the screen can be hard to keep clean. My bro ordered some screen protectors for it so i hope it comes soon =]
Christmas Eve was nothing special.. it was like any other day. That night William and Phillip, his lil bro, came over and Phillip brought his 360 controller just so he could play at my house.. haha talk about video game addiction. They played with billy and i just watched prince of tennis. started watching a week before break and am almost finished.. kinda =P
Christmas was alright too. In the morning my parents got us to dress up really nice to take pics. I finally got to wear Tran’s b-day gift to me.. Thanks Tran!! haha there woulda been a shortage of ties if i didnt have that =P Then we went to #1 buffet and that place was pretty good too. lots of variety.. Chinese, sushi (crappy ones), korean bbq, and they had people to make certain dishes too.. it was pretty cool. When we got home.. my parents went to Thunder Valley i think.. and i stayed home with my bros and 2 of my little cousins were over and we had to babysit. I watched anime and stuff.. then we made pizza and hot wings to eat while watching a movie.. haha later my parents came home and we finally opened our presents. The ones left that i had left to open were from my brother and my friends from church. I got a UCSD t-shirt and a head racket =]. 
Sunday, i went to SF with my family. We went to visit some of my dad’s friends and they took us to a Viet restaurant to eat. Afterwards we walked around Union Square and looked at the overpriced stuff. Then we walked to Chinatown and bought a bunch of bakery stuff and my bros got bootlegged DVD’s. There was a whole section of Korean Dramas.. haha my bro got 3. We also got Death Note movie (which had no subtitles even though the guy working there said it did.. jackass), and Fist of Fury Sworn Revenge series with Donnie Yen. That was pretty good, but apparently its not the entire series. So my bro was kinda pissed about that too. Then we went back to my dad’s friend’s place and we ate dinner and hung out for the rest of the night. My dad got kinda drunk and was talking alot. We finally left for home around 9 something and i was tired when i got home.
Yesterday, i was doing some yardwork and thanwa called my home phone asking me to go play some ball with friends. He was like “how you like your new phone man?” haha so i went to go play ball. i did alot better than i did at franklin. I played with Thanwa, Matt, James #2, Luke, Richard, and Andrew Jung. After playing a couple of pickup games it was starting to get dark so we shot around and went to Richard’s house. They were all hungry so we went to Wendy’s and they all got some food. Thanwa got me a small fries, and when i was about done.. i noticed a hair on the last fry. It was pretty nasty, so i told they guy at the counter and he gave me a Large fries. after we finished eating, we went back to Richard’s place and played some Brawl. i never won during the free for alls.. but when we did team battle, me and Richard dominated =P for some reason it seems like i got better at the game even though i hadnt played in forever. At one point Richard died on me and i had to take on both Matt and Thanwa, and i still won =] Then i played a game of NBA 2k9 with Richard. He was bragging that hes really good and matt kept saying how good he was so i played him.. and won by like.. 15.. hahaha then thanwa and Chhun played while we talked and played with Richard dog. Then i went home around 9:30.
Today was my bro’s 20th birthday! we got up early this morning to go sledding and waited for some of his friends to come. A couple of them were really late.. and everyone finally got there around 10:30. We headed out and went to Walmart first to get some gloves, then went to Huong Lan to get some sandwiches and then finally headed out to Tahoe or somewhere.. haha i’m not sure. We had a snowball for a while and that tired us out. Then we drove out to some gas station which was FULL of people sledding, so we got out and went sledding. All of the slopes had big bumps and it hurt, so we went out and threw around a football and a frisbee in an open area. Finally around 4 we headed back and drove home. Hit traffic along the way. My bro went out with his friends to #1 buffet again and just got home. Hopefully the remainder of break will be full of events too =].
